Madison, Wisconsin -- Erik C. Peterson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Kevin S. Kenyon, 44, of Sparta, Wis., pleaded guilty on June 6, 2008, in U.S. District Court in Madison, to making a false statement under oath at a bankruptcy proceeding. At the plea hearing Kenyon admitted that he had testified falsely regarding the ownership of a bulldozer which he had previously pledged as collateral to a financial institution.

Chief U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb scheduled sentencing for August 15, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. Kenyon faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
