Bank Employee Embezzlement Sentence
Madison, Wisconsin -- Erik C. Peterson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Jennifer M. Severson, 35, of Eastman, Wis., was sentenced Friday, July 25, 2008, by Magistrate Judge Stephen L. Crocker to 2 years of probation for embezzling $10,000 from her previous employer, the Citizens Bank of Prairie du Chien.
The charge against Jennifer M. Severson was the result of an investigation conducted by the La Crosse Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Grant C. Johnson.
