Centuria Man Charged with Possession of Child Pornography

Madison, WI—Erik C. Peterson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Samuel Bradley, 22, Centuria, Wis., was arraigned today in U.S. District Court in Madison on a charge of possessing child pornography. Bradley entered a not guilty plea and was scheduled for a jury trial on September 21, 2009.

Bradley was indicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, for possessing child pornography videos found during the execution of a search warrant at his home on February 11, 2009. If convicted, Bradley faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

The charge against Samuel Bradley is the result of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The prosecution of the case has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert A. Anderson.

You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
